The power program is a streamlined version of the athlete program designed to fit in with an already full training routine. This program is specifically designed to help you get stronger flips, kicks, leaps and enough dynamic power to reach your full athletic potential.

Here's the breakdown:

Structure

Going to the gym with no structure or plan and just winging it isn't helping you.

Commit to some solid training blocks, track what weights you're lifting and progressively over time you'll see the improvements.

This helps prevent injury and gives you a return on your time and efforts.

Specifiicty

No more body builder splits. 


Your muscles need to be strong, dynamic and POWERFUL.


This program is designed specifically to help you to gain the strength and power you need to flip, kick, leap and land with stability and control.

Freedom

I give you the tools, structure and specificity. You have the freedom to schedule your sessions when it suits you best.

You can schedule extra add on workouts to make your routine reflect your goals.

Such as:

- Core workouts

- Cardio workouts

- Specific stretching routines.

Here's how we do it: 

1 / Step One

We begin the onboarding process by you filling out a Health PAR-Q and consultation form. This is so I can help keep you safe while you explore new movements.

2 / Step Two

I can then assess your forms and work with you to tailor your movement plan and program.

3 / Step Three

You work through the movements and I'll guide and support you through it. You'll join a group of people who are also doing this program for added community support.

What's in the program?

How is 'Power' structured?

Power is super streamlined. Just X 2 one hour workouts per week

 

1. Lower body

2. Upper body

Block One:

We look at building strong strength foundations coupled with plyometric straining and core strength and stability

Block Two:

We continue to build upon these strong foundations but introduce  harder exercise variations.

Add Ons:

I give you access to exercise add ons so you can tailor what specifically you need extra help with. Whether that's a stronger more dynamic core for flips, more fitness, more flexibility for kicks or all three.

Training Blocks:

There are three training blocks which each last four weeks. This is so you can master your technique / form and begin to progressively overload and actually increase your strength, power and flexibility. Constantly switching things up will keep you generally healthy but it's not as potent and effective as having a bit more specified structure.

Catherine is a detail oriented trainer. She meets you where you're at and works with you to reach your goals. Love her training technique and patience

Why I created this program

I created the Power Program after completing the Athlete Program and realising it was a little impractical for the kinds of athletes I work with. (Myself included) In reality movement artists are already engaged in a lot of multi disciplinary classes and trainings. This program is more realistic because it's been stripped back and helps give structure that's efficient and specific to the needs of performing artists.

This program appealed to my need to remain strong but to also stay dynamic and powerful. It fits into my training week perfectly. When I did this program it made every session feel enjoyable, purposeful and meant I could keep up my other all important skill based trainings, without feeling overloaded.

I'm a dancer, training stunt performer, personal trainer and all around lover of movement, however I wasn't always the strong, fit and confident women I am today. I've been on my own transformative journey; mentally and physically and It's now my turn to help others overcome barriers and step into their full potential.
