Here's the breakdown:
Structure
To start with, we need some structure in our training to achieve specific goals. The constant 'mixing it up' is not helping you achieve your goals. We need strong and technically correct movement patterns; In this program you'll become familar with squats, deadlifts, hip thrusts and step ups as they will form the basis of your programming.
Specifiicty
This program is specifically designed for hypertrophy (muscle growth) and the principle of progressive overload is key. Pair that with correct nutrition and now all your hard work in the gym will actually translate to seeing results and your body change shape.
Freedom
I give you the tools, structure and specificity. You have the freedom to schedule your sessions when it suits you best.
You can rest easy knowing this program has been tried and tested by an exercise professional.


Here's how we do it:
1 / Step One
We begin the onboarding process by you filling out a Health PAR-Q and consultation form.
2 / Step Two
I can then assess your forms and work with you to tailor your exercise plan, program and nutrition.
3 / Step Three
We work together closely and I help you stay accountable to your goals, plan and overcome any barriers together as they arise.

Strength:
The strength sessions are broken into a 3 day split which are;

*You can opt for 2 or 3 strength days in your routine. - This program uses the high frequency training model which is best for muscle growth
Fitness:
You can opt to add in 1 - 2 optional cardio days. I recommend just a LISS walk so we don't interrupt the main goal of growing a booty!
Training Blocks:
There are two training blocks which each last six weeks. This is so you can master your technique and form and begin to progressively overload and actually increase your muscle size in your body and gain strength in your core. Constantly switching things up will keep you generally healthy but it's not as potent and effective as having more specificity and structure.

Why I created this program
I created this program for myself while I had an injury in my upper body. I was disheartened with my training and knew I needed to quickly switch up my training goals before I descended into a pity party
I designed Glutes & Core Express to fit in my busy schedule at the time and honestly just for a bit of fun! I don't typically train for aesthetics because there is so much more to explore in the world of movement but there's also nothing wrong with aesthetic goals if that's 'where you're at.'
I loved the six week blocks to really push myself to progressively overload. I added the odd upper body movement dotted through it just so you don't become too imbalanced but it's easy enough to sub these or skip them altogether.
This program goes well with a stretching routine paired with it like Fluid as this program is all about the weights and a bit of light cardio.
